A well-known specialist on the Eurasian region, Turkish foreign policy and the Turkish-Russian relations worked as an advisor in the Center for Strategic Studies and the project coordinator under the Turkish Foreign Ministry, held studies on the Armenian genocide in the Russian, German, Israel archives in 1997-2001.
