Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan invited Berdimuhamedov to the UAE in January 2010
In his letter Al Nahyan said that the meeting on the top will give an opportunity to strengthen friendly ties, to exchange views on issues of mutual interest, and to continue productive inter-state dialogue
Turkmenistan held Investment Forum on the threshold of Berdimuhamedov's visit to Abu Dhabi. The forum brought together about 300 representatives of the companies and investment groups from Persian Gulf, Europe, Australia, Canada and other countries
The UAE is represented on the Turkmen market by Dragon Oil Company
Mubadala Development Company Oil & Gas also studies its opportunities
