Azerbaijani Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov received his Norwegian counterpartKnut Storberget at a meeting this week.
The meeting discussed cooperation and sharing experience to strengthen global combat domestic violation, organize joint events and protect human rights, the Justice Ministry told Trend Feb. 8.
Mammadov emphasized the importance of the European justice ministry conference dedicated to domestic violence in June 2009 in Norway.
The Norwegian minister touched upon urgent issues in his country, specifically the need to fix overcrowding in pre-trial prisons.
