An Azerbaijani Interior Troops officer died from a disease Dec. 25.
Based on a preliminary medical report, Azerbaijani soldier Ibrahim Aliyev died of an acute inflammation accompanied by a hemorrhage, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Press Service employee Abbas Shirinov told Trend .
Aliyev enlisted from the Jalilabad Military Commissariat in January.
The source refuted information that the soldier died after receiving a vaccine against the swine flu.
