Movement for Fair Georgia leader Zurab Noghaideli, who returned from Moscow this morning, appreciated his visit and the memorandum signed with the Russian ruling United Russia party.
"This is a document of great significance," he told journalists at the Tbilisi airport.
"While on the one hand, it's only an agreement between parties, this is our chance to bring Georgia-Russia relations to a new level," he added.
He expressed confidence that it is possible to break the deadlock in the relations between the two countries, which worsened after the war in 2008.
