Iran is disappointed with U.S. President Barack Obama's attempts to change the country's policy, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said at a rally in Tehran, commemorating the 31st anniversary of the Islamic revolution, IRINN television channel reported.
"Iran appealed to the U.S. to change its policy toward Tehran and the U.S. promised to do it," he said.
Obama should take a correct stand and not succumb to bad influence, he added.
"We hope that Obama will institute reforms in the U.S., serve his people and put an end to George Bush's aggressive policy," the Iranian leader added.
According to him, everyone knows that the West cannot stand in Iran's way because the end of the regime will be the end of the West.
"Capitalism is on its last legs," he said.
