Georgian-American Charter to hold meeting this week

Georgia, Tbilisi, Feb. 22 / Trend , N.Kirtzkhalia/

Another working meeting under the US-Georgia Charter will be held this week. The gathering will deal with economic issues. Nino Kalandadze, Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia, made this statement at a briefing today.

According to Kalandadze, the American delegation will be led by Jose Fernandez, Assistant Secretary of the USA for Economic Affairs and Energy. The delegation includes representatives of the Commerce Department and the Trade Chamber.

"The charter will focus on four subjects. In terms of dealing with the topics we will move to the last stage. In our opinion the most important issues will be considered just this week," Kalandadze underscored.

Consideration of economic projects and initiatives are not excluded, she said.
