Feb.25, Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon had a telephone conversation with his Afghan Counterpart Hamid Karzai, the Afghan presidential pres-service told Trend.
The presidents discussed issues on the Tajikistan- Afghanistan bilateral cooperation.
The sides also mulled lying of power line from Tajikistan to Afghanistan and construction of the railway from Tajikistan to Iran via Afghanistan.
The presidents noted that it would strengthen relations between countries in the region and as a whole.
