March 1 the Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency, AzerTaj, turns 90. On the threshold of this nice anniversary, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a number of orders to award the leaders and employees of the Agency with state awards and honorary titles, the AzerTaj state news agency reported.
Under the order of the head of state, Director General of AzerTaj Aslan Aslanov was awarded with the order "For Service to Motherland" of the 3rd degree, for special merits in development of the national press in the Azerbaijan Republic.
For merits in development of mass media in the Azerbaijan Republic with the honorary titles "Honored journalist", "Honored culture worker" and "Honored engineer" have been awarded eight employees of the Agency, with the medal "Tereggi" - nine journalists. The head of state awarded one employee of AzerTAc with the special grant of President of the Azerbaijan Republic.
