Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolence to the President of France Nicolas Sarkozy over the loss of lives caused by the Xynthia storm, the AzerTaj state news agency reported.
The letter says: "The news of human loss and damage as a result of the Xynthia storm was a source of great sorrow to me. On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I offer sincere condolences to you, families and relatives of the dead and all the people of France."
