President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Wednesday Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
They said relations between Azerbaijan and Russia were developing successfully in various spheres including economic one.
The sides expressed confidence that bilateral relationship would continue to expand.
The talks also touched upon the prospects for cooperation in CIS territory.
