President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Secretary-General of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, deputy foreign minister Ed Kronenberg, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
Kronenberg said his country was keen to develop cooperation with Azerbaijan.
He described the opening of the Netherlands` embassy in Azerbaijan as evidence to the importance his country gives to the relationship with Azerbaijan.
President Ilham Aliyev said Azerbaijan attaches significant importance to enhancing relationship with the Netherlands.
According to the Head of State, the fact that Azerbaijan`s embassy has been operating in the Netherlands for three years contributes to developing bilateral relationship.
The Azerbaijani leader expressed hope that relations between the two countries would further develop.
