President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolence to Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev over consequences of natural disaster in Alma Ata province of Kazakhstan, the AzerTaj state news agency reported on Saturday.
"The news of great human loss as a result of a natural disaster in the southern Kazakhstan was a source of great sorrow to me. On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I offer sincere condolences to you, families and relatives of the dead and all the people of Kazakhstan. May Allah rest the souls of the dead in peace!", the President said
