On March 16, Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev inaugurated an office building for the control center of the special communication and information security department of the Special State Protection Service, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
The President, Supreme Commander-In-Chief cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the building, and then toured it.
There is a bust to national leader Heydar Aliyev in the center`s foyer.
The President viewed a photo exhibition featuring the pre-overhaul look of the center.
Chairman of the Special State Protection Service, Colonel-General Vagif Akhundov informed the President of the reconstruction work.
The Head of State toured a video-conference room and video surveillance center.
President Ilham Aliyev praised the overhaul of the control center.
