Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev congratulated President of Tunisia Zine El Abidine Ben Ali on national holiday - Independence Day, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
"I congratulate You and your people on my own behalf and on behalf of the Azeri people on the national holiday of Tunisia - Independence Day. I am sure that Azerbaijan-Tunisian relations will further develop on the basis of friendship and cooperation in accordance with the interests of our peoples," says the letter.
President Ilham Aliyev wished Zine El Abidine Ben Ali and the Tunisian people peace and prosperity.
