Georgian FM to leave for Nuclear Security Summit

Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze will leave for the Washington Nuclear Security Summit to be held April 12-13.

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili was expected to attend the summit on U.S. President Barack Obama's invitation, but opted against doing so in light of Polish President Lech Kaczynski's death.

The summit will focus on the protection of nuclear materials.

Forty-six heads of state will intend, including Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
