Ukraine remains a member of GUAM fundamentally and ideologically, Georgia's Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania said at a briefing today.
He said that Ukraine does not intend to leave the union, just the activity of GUAM was temporarily suspended.
"This suspension was logical, proceeding from the fact of regime change in Ukraine. It is understandable that the activity at the bilateral level was temporarily suspended ", Jalagania said.
It should be noted that supporters of Ukraine's new president Viktor Yanukovich began the talks about Ukraine's leaving GUAM.
