German side reiterates its support for sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia

The next round of the Georgian-German political consultations took place in Berlin on June 10-11. The Georgian delegation at the meeting was headed by First Deputy Foreign Minister Giorgi Bokeria, German - Federal Foreign Office State Secretary Wolf-Ruthard Born, a source at the Foreign Ministry of Georgia told Trend.

The sides discussed a wide range of issues of political and economic relations. Particular attention was paid to the rapprochement of Georgia with the European Union and NATO and the near prospects. The need was noted to strengthen relations in a multilateral framework and cooperation in various fields between the two countries.
Individual meetings of department heads of two foreign ministries took place within the consultations. The German side reiterated its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
