Polish citizens residing in Azerbaijan cast their ballots for Bronislaw Komorowski in the second round of presidential elections, the Second Secretary of Embassy Jan Brodovsky told Trend.

Polish citizens residing in Azerbaijan cast their ballots for Bronislaw Komorowski in the second round of presidential elections, the Second Secretary of Embassy Jan Brodovsky told Trend.

According to Brodovsky, out of 52 Polish citizens who were voting, 38 voted Komorowski, 12 for Jaroslaw Kaczynski. Two ballots were filled incorrectly and are void.

The Polish embassy has established a polling station number 22 and all citizens of Poland, who are in Azerbaijan during elections, had the opportunity to vote at that polling station

Voting at the polling station ended at 23:00 Baku time.

10 candidates run for the first round of elections. None of the candidates gained the necessary to win half of the votes. Presidential candidate of the ruling Civic Platform Party, the Speaker of the Sejm Bronislaw Komorowski and leader of the Party Law and Justice Jaroslaw Kaczynski run for the second round of the elections.
