Georgian President orders to develop civil defense system

The Georgian President ordered to develop the country's civil defense system at a meeting with the the Defence Ministry's leadership today. According to Mikheil Saakashvili, all should defend his home and his village.

"Small groups with a minimum number of weapons should be in all populated areas to protect their village," he said.

Saakashvili said all perfectly saw our force in August of 2008.

"If the enemy decides to move forward from the occupied territories every square meter of land should burn under his feet . This is the main task of our people, including representatives of various ethnic groups. And for this it is necessary to develop a civil defense system," Saakashvili said.
