OSCE Baku Office Head Ali Bilge Cankorel regards a great number of international observers in the forthcoming parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan as the country's success.

About 450 OSCE observers will monitor the upcoming parliamentary elections,  of which 45 are long term, Cankorel said at the opening of training courses  for the chairmen of district election commissions (DEC) today.

The parliamentary elections will be held Nov. 7. Previous elections were held in November 2005. The elections are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies.
