President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev has today visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country's independence and territorial integrity, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
A ceremonial guard of honor was lined up for the Russian President here.
He laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument here.
A military orchestra played the national anthems of Russia and Azerbaijan.
