The new ambassador of the Great Britain to Georgia Judith Gough has already arrived in Tbilisi last night and will soon take up her duties.
It is still unknown when Judith Gough will take her duties, as procedures established by protocol should be conducted, the Great Britain's Embassy said.
At present, the ambassador's duties are performed by the assistant to Ambassador Karen Moran. The powers of the former British Ambassador Denis Keefe have expired, and he left the country in June. Denis Keefe has been a great admirer of the Georgian culture and during the service period learned even the Georgian language and spoke it quite fluently.
