Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev has sent a message of greetings to the Jewish Community of Azerbaijan on Rosh Hashanah holiday (Jewish New Year), AzerTAj state news agency reported.
"Historically settled in Azerbaijan, the Jewish community has today become an integral part of our multinational society."
"It is remarkable that our Jewish citizens are actively involved in the socio-political life of our country, the process of building democratic statehood and raising the world community's awareness of Azerbaijan's realities."
"The Rosh Hashanah is a holiday of renewal, repentance and moral purity. May this dear day bring good news, joy and happiness to you and your families," the President said.
