A trial will begin today against several individuals accused of planning a rebellion at the Mukhrovani military base in the Tbilisi Court of Appeals.
Lawyer Nati Korkotadze told Trend that the pleadings are currently underway.
Over 21 people - military officers and civilians - are accused of planning the rebellion. A court of the first instance has already issued a verdict. The defendants were sentenced to 9-29 years.
