Azerbaijani parliamentary committees on legal policy, state building and human rights discuss implementing amendments to Azerbaijan's law "On entry, exit and passports".
The amendments, passed after announcing 2011 as Azerbaijan's Year of Tourism, are intended to simplify obtaining a tourist visas for international tourists, Parliamentary Legal Policy and State Building Committee Chairman Ali Huseynov said at a meeting.

He said that according to the new amendments, an appeal to obtain a tourist visa is to be issued after a maximum 15-day waiting period. "The amendments note that tourist visas are granted for 30 days, which is the maximum term of a tour voucher," Huseynov said.
