Academy of Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Civil Defence Academy of Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations signed an agreement on cooperation in scientific and educational spheres.
The document was signed by heads of relevant agencies of Azerbaijan and Russia and has a goal of creating an effective system of training highly skilled rescuers, Azerbaijani Ministry's website said on Thursday.
The agreement envisages uniting the efforts of leading experts and researchers in this field and increasing the level of research and teaching activities of the two academies.
