Issue of improving transport infrastructure of the countries of Eastern Europe and the EU will be discussed in Baku. This decision was made at the meeting of the committee on economic cooperation of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly taking place in Brussels, member of the Azerbaijani delegation in the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly Fuad Muradov said.
He noted discussion will be held during the next session of the Euronest to take place in Baku on April, 2-4.
"At the meeting the Armenian delegation raised the question about the fact that closed borders create obstacles for transport. However the answer was that closed borders of Armenia are exceptionally connected with occupation of the Azerbaijani territories by Armenia," Mr Muradov told Trend on Tuesday.
Decision on holding the second session of the Euronest PA in April, 2012 was made at the organization's session held in Strasbourg in September, 2011. It will be the first session of the Euronest PA to be held outside the European Union.
