Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov who is on a visit to Azerbaijan visited on Tuesday the Alley of Honors where he commemorated memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev and laid a wreath at his tomb.
He also put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
Then the minister visited the Alley of Martyrs and laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
Official visit of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Azerbaijan began on Tuesday.
