Azerbaijan will attend a conference on Afghanistan to be held in Tokyo and co-chaired by the governments of Japan and Afghanistan at the level of foreign minister, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Trend on Friday.
At an international conference to be held on July 8, Azerbaijan will be represented by a delegation headed by Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev.
The conference will focus on issues related to sustainable development of Afghanistan, and will discuss issues such as coordination of international assistance and regional economic cooperation.
