Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili expressed his condolences to the Russian people in connection with the tragedy in the Krasnodar region. Mikheil Saakashvili expresses his deep sorrow over the flood victims, press speaker of president Manana Manjgaladze stated on the Sunday.

According to her, the President of Georgia expressed his readiness to assist the victims.

"The president ordered the Interior Ministry of Georgia to prepare a group of rescuers who are always ready to fly to Russia for help, if it was asked for," - she said.

According to official data, during a flood in the Krasnodar region of Russia 155 people dead, more than 300 injured and 15,000 left homeless.
