Albania and Liberia are interested in developing cooperation with Azerbaijan.
The prospects of cooperation were discussed by head of Azerbaijani MFA with MFA's of these countries in New York during the 67th session of UN General Assembly.
Elmar Mammadyarov noted the contribution of mutual visits in development of bilateral relations and necessity of strengthening the legal framework between Azerbaijan and Albania.
The head of Albanian MFA Edmond Panariti attached high importance to the visit of Azerbaijani Speaker to Albania and expressed his hopes over contribution of this visit to development of bilateral relations.
In the framework of 67th session of UN General Assembly Elmar Mammadyarov also met with Liberian MFA Augustine Ngafuan.
The parties noted the importance of research of economical cooperation development between the countries and the importance of different steps in this direction.
Stressing the need for strong partners in the transition period, the head of Liberian MFA said that he attaches great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan. Augustin Ngafuan reported about the discovery of major oil fields in Liberia this year and expressed hopes over use of Azerbaijan's extended experience in this field. He also invited Elmar Mammadyarov to visit Liberia.
