The director executive of the 'North South' Political Centre and member of the Expert Council Alexei Vlasov stated that the unsolved issues in the field of bilateral relations can be settled with goodwill.
"We shouldn't forget that there is a powerful resource of public sector communications and of educational and youth structures. A new field of cooperation in the nongovernmental sector has to be established which will contribute to cooperation between countries in different directions," Vlasov said.
In other words, societies and organisations have to be united in the issues of cooperation between Moscow and Baku.
In the opinion of the editor in chief of the New Baku Post newspaper Tofig Abbasov, a new start in relations between the countries should be discussed. "The governments are willing to develop dialogue and cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan," he noted.
According to the deputy general director of Moscow State University's Information Analytical Centre Ismayil Agakishiyev, Azerbaijani diaspora has a great role in the strengthening of bilateral relations. There isn't a problem that can't be solved by us, he noted.
"We always have conditions for positive development. Today's video bridge is a good starting point for the settlement of problems and unsolved issues," Agakishiyev added.
The two countries have implemented the most they could do, but there are still lots of nuances in administrative issues. All in all the new stage of relations is upcoming, the deputy general director of Information and Analytical Centre of Moscow State University Alexander Karavaev. He added that involvement of third countries into joint business projects is possible in future.
