A Council of Treasurers, headed by the First Vice-Speaker Manana Kobakhidze, will be established at Georgian parliament.

The issue was presented by the Parliament Speaker David Usupashvili at today's meeting of bureau.

"This body will assist the Parliament Speaker in domestic budget issues. This is a parliamentary tradition, so we have agreed to establish a council of treasurers. It will comprise six members from the majority and four from the minority," Usupashvili added.
