Former head of Adjara’s Constitutional Security Service released on bail

Former head of Adjara's Constitutional Security Service Temur Pataridze was released by the Tbilisi court on bail worth 50,000 lari ($ 1 = 1.66 lari).

He is charged with three articles of the Georgian Criminal Code - abuse of power, extortion and fraud.

"The prosecution urged to use detention as a measure of restraint, but we have applied for bail," Pataridze's lawyer Teymuraz Meskhi. "The judge granted our petition. My client pleaded himself not guilty."
