Azerbaijani President meets Turkish FM in Davos

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Wednesday met Foreign Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu in Davos.

They praised development of relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey in all fields.

Ahmet Davutoglu conveyed Turkish President Abdullah Gul`s and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan`s greetings to the Azerbaijani President.

The sides stressed the importance of jointly implementing global projects, including the Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline (TANAP).

President Ilham Aliyev and FM Ahmet Davutoglu expressed confidence that Azerbaijan-Turkey cooperation would continue to develop.

They also discussed the current state of negotiations to settle the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

President Ilham Aliyev asked Ahmet Davutoglu to deliver his greetings to Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
