President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Suma Chakrabarti in Davos.
They praised fruitful, long-term cooperation between Azerbaijan and EBRD, and discussed prospects for developing the bilateral relations.
President Ilham Aliyev and the EBRD chief discussed cooperation between the country and the organization in a number of fields, including energy, non-energy sector, ICT, industry, agriculture, and tourism.
Azerbaijan attaching special importance to developing the social infrastructure was stressed at the meeting.
The EBRD president said the Bank placed a particular emphasis on its cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Suma Chakrabarti said he intends to pay a visit to Azerbaijan.
