Iran’s FM starts visit to Ethiopia

‎Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi left for Ethiopia on Saturday to participate in an Africa Union meeting, Mehr News Agency reported.

Africa Union is preparing to carry out the 20th meeting of union members at the level of heads of states and Salehi will take part by heading an Iranian delegation in the meeting.

According to Mehr report, Salehi wants to meet with some African Union member-states' heads to discuss the bilateral, international and regional issues.

Iranian foreign minister had visited some African countries including Egypt in early January. He met with Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi on Jan. 10 and discussed bilateral issues and Syrian crisis.
