A meeting between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov and President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, who arrived on a state visit in Turkmenistan that will last until Feb.14 inclusive, will be held in Ashgabat on Wednesday, an official Turkmen source said.
The agenda includes issues of cooperation in trade and economy, energy, construction and scientific and technical fields. It is expected that a joint declaration and a package of intergovernmental agreements will be signed on the outcome of negotiations.
The two presidents also plan to discuss urgent issues of international policy of mutual interest.
According to the protocol, the government delegations of the two countries within Yanukovych's state visit will attend ceremonies of laying foundations of some major facilities in Lebap region.
The question is about projects, which involve Ukrainian LLC "Altcom" Road Construction" ", which will start the construction of the airport in the city of Turkmenabat, rail and road bridges over the river Amu Darya between Turkmenabat and Farab.
