On April 26 begins the visit to Kazakhstan of Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who will take part in a conference of the member countries of the Istanbul Process on Afghanistan, a statement published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey on its website on Friday says.

On April 26 begins the visit to Kazakhstan of Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who will take part in a conference of the member countries of the Istanbul Process on Afghanistan, a statement published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey on its website on Friday says.

According to the statement, during a visit to Kazakhstan, Erdogan will meet with his Kazakh counterpart Erlan Idrisov and other officials of the country. Alongside, the Turkish Prime Minister will meet with the Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Dmitry Mezentsev.
The meeting of senior officials in the framework of the Ministerial Conference of the Istanbul Process on Afghanistan started its work on Thursday in Almaty. The key objective of the meeting is to agree on the text of the Almaty Declaration and other documents of the main ministerial-level meeting scheduled for April 26.
