Syrian oppositional National Council intends to open an official representative office in Jordan, Al Jazeera channel reported on Saturday.
According to the report the Syrian National Council considers it necessary to open a representative office in Jordan for establishing political relations with this country as well as to observe the condition of the Syrian refugees in Jordan.
It is reported that the oppositional Syrian National Council also intends to open representative offices in other Arab and European countries.
The clashes between government forces and the armed opposition have been continuing in Syria for more than two years. According to UN statistics, the total number of victims of the conflict in Syria is more than 100,000 people. The Syrian authorities say they are opposed by well-armed militants.
