President Ilham Aliyev has viewed Shekikhanovs' House in Sheki region.
Shekikhanovs' House, unique historical monument of Azerbaijani architecture of the 18th century, has been completely overhauled.
Relevant instructions of the Head of State were given earlier - when the President and the First Lady visited Sheki in 2006. The restoration of the House was initiated by the First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
The President views photos reflecting the previous and present looks of the facility, and Heydar Aliyev and M.F. Akhundzade Avenues.
The restoration work started here in November 2012. The two-storey house with total area of 700 sq meters houses six rooms, four halls and two verandas.
It was the Royal Palace of the Sheki khanate in the 18th century.
