On Tuesday, a national security meeting was held in Ankara headed by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Sabah newspaper reported.
The meeting is attended by Deputy Prime Minister Beshir Atalay, Chief of General Staff Necdet Ozel, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Interior Minister Muammer Guler, Defence Minister Ismet Yilmaz and Intelligence head Hakan Fidan.
It is expected that during the meeting, issues in the region will be discussed, in particular, the Syrian crisis.
