A group of representatives of the Turkish opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) visited Egypt, Anadolu agency reported on Wednesday.
During the visit, Deputy Chairman of the party Faruk Lologlu and MP for Istanbul Osman Koruturk met with Egyptian Trade and Industry Minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel-Nour.
During the meeting, trade relations and mutual investments of the two countries were discussed.
At the meeting, Lologlu stressed that 480 Turkish companies with a total investment of $2 billion operate in Egypt. He considers that trade relations between Egypt and Turkey must develop regardless of the political relations.
