The Ombudsman's office received no complaints in connection with violations related to electoral processes in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova told media today.
According to her, the office did not receive any complaints concerning the nomination of candidates, documents submitted to the Central Election Commission, the signature collection campaign or the candidate registration process.
Suleymanova said activities were carried out by the Ombudsman office to conduct a transparent, fair and democratic election.
The Ombudsman stressed that special attention is paid to the voter lists. Work is underway to ensure the rights of every person.
The presidential election will be held in Azerbaijan on October 9. The previous one was held on October 15, 2008.
The presidential election in Azerbaijan is held every five years.
