An official visit of Iranian Border Guard Commander, General Hussein Zulfugari to Azerbaijan started this morning.
Zulfugari visited Baku at the invitation of the head of the Azerbaijani State Border Service Elchin Guliyev, Trend reported citing the Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan. Zulfugari will hold meetings with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elchin Guliyev and other officials within his two-day visit.
According to the report, the goal of the visit is to ensure security of the two countries' borders and to strengthen the fight against drugs.
