Euronest Parliamentary Assembly Energy Security Committee will hold a seminar with the Seimas (parliament) of Lithuania on the Eastern Partnership's energy efficiency and renewable energy, on September 20, in Vilnius, the official website of the Lithuanian parliament report.
This seminar will create opportunities to discuss studies carried out by the members of the Euronest PA, European Parliament, members of the Eastern Partnership and EU member countries, politicians, specialists, scientists and highly qualified experts, the report said.
According to the report, the seminar will also create possibilities for the exchange of ideas on efforts on strengthening cooperation in energy sphere within the framework of the Eastern Partnership.
Event participants will be welcomed by the Deputy Speaker of the Lithuanian parliament, Co-Chairman of the Euronest PA and the member of Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada (Supreme Council).
It is expected that the Euronest PA Energy Security Committee Co-Chairman, MP Fuad Muradov will make an opening speech.
Experts from different countries will make presentations on renewable energy, energy efficiency and promotion of cooperation of between EU countries and the Eastern Partnership countries.
