The form of realisation of European values which have been approved by the Council of Europe, is under question during Armenia's Council of Europe chairmanship, the chairman of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE, Samad Seyidov told journalists on Friday.
Seyidov noted this is a very important issue because if Europe is speaking about values in the world and intends to persistently present those values to the member states, then in the first place the country which chairs the Council of Europe, that is Armenia, should at least comply with those values in the next six months.
"We see that on the contrary, these all are completely different. The resolutions approved by the Council of Europe are not fulfilled, issues related to Nagorno-Karabakh remain open and Armenia is clearly carrying out a policy of putting aside these issues, not discussing them," Seyidov said.
Seyidov added that, no matter how long Armenia implements this policy, the Azerbaijani delegation will keep up its position on the agenda.
