On Wednesday Azerbaijan's First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and the Foundation's Vice-President Leyla Aliyeva attended the opening of the orphanage-kindergarten No289 after major overhaul in the capital's Buzovna District.
Mrs. Aliyeva viewed a photo stand reflecting previous look of the facility.
Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov informed the First Lady that the orphanage-kindergarten was built in 1976. The kindergarten will handle up to 120 children.
The two-storey building was reconstructed under the "State Program on socio-economic development of the city of Baku and its suburbs in 2011-2013".
The First Lady was also informed about the reconstruction work in kindergartens in Buzovna District.
Then the First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and the Foundation's Vice-President Leyla Aliyeva attended the opening of a new building of the orphanage-kindergarten No246 in Buzovna District, Baku.
Mrs. Aliyeva cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the facility.
The First Lady was informed that the old building of the kindergarten was built in 1985. All conditions have been created here for children.
The kindergarten will handle up to 220 children.
Azerbaijani First Lady, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and Vice-President of the Foundation Leyla Aliyeva also attended the opening ceremony of a new building for orphanage-kindergarten No214 in Turkan settlement, Baku.
Mehriban Aliyeva cut a ribbon symbolizing the official inauguration of the building.
The First Lady was informed that the total area of kindergarten, constructed on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, was 6000 square meters. Various facilities, including a football pitch and attractions were set up in the orphanage-kindergarten. All necessary conditions were created here for instructive and educational work of kids. The building also has a music hall, a sports room and a swimming pool.

Mrs. Aliyeva cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the facility. The First Lady was informed that the polyclinic was provided with modern equipment.
The two-storey building has 36 rooms, a lab, and a modern lighting system.
Then Azerbaijani First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva attended the opening of a new building of the orphanage-kindergarten No285 in the capital's Bina settlement.
The First Lady cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the facility.
Mrs. Aliyeva was informed that the orphanage-kindergarten was built in 1985. The facility was reconstructed with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
The First Lady and Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva viewed photo stands reflecting previous and current look of the kindergarten, as well as national leader Heydar Aliyev's and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation's attention to children. The President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation toured a canteen, and a sports hall of the orphanage-kindergarten. The kindergarten will handle up to 220 children.
