Turkey urges its citizens not to travel to Sudan, a statement posted on Turkish Foreign Ministry's official website on Saturday said.
According to the statement, at present Turkey is closely following the developments in Sudan.
In recent weeks, 29 people were victims of violence in Sudan, the country's authorities announced. Sudan opposition claims that the number of people killed in the riots has exceeded 140 people.
Clashes occur in Khartoum and its suburbs. On September 28 shooting occurred in Omdurman, which is a part of the 'big city'. Unrest also takes place in the city of Port Sudan on the Red Sea, one thousand kilometers to the northeast of the capital.
